“We, the undersigned electors of Calgary-Hays, seek to recall MLA Ric McIver for failing to represent the interests of his constituents.
As Minister of Municipal Affairs, he has supported legislation that reduces local democratic control and weakens municipal accountability. His record shows limited progress on infrastructure, education, and community priorities in southeast Calgary. Past ethical concerns have further eroded public trust.
Together, these actions demonstrate a loss of confidence in his ability to serve effectively and transparently on behalf of the people of Calgary-Hays.”
